Birthdays!

Jon turned 29 on February 23rd! He is getting old!!! You know your getting old when you have a stress fracture in your foot from running, and you have shingles. Shortly after Jon turned 29 he had both of those! Jon started volunteering for Newberg Fire department and has been very busy with that and work! We don't get to see him much anymore! He will soon get his fire certificates and be able to do ride alongs! He is wanting to start EMT school May 5th, then will go to paramedic school after that. We are hoping that he can get a fire fighting job soon!

Ady turned 2 March 4th! I can't believe she is 2 already! We started this new pancake tradition with the candle in the pancakes and I love it! She is saying full sentences, and has been for a long time now. Ady just started saying "ok" when she finishes a sentence, and randomly says "anyways" with a sigh. She knows how to spell her name, how old she is, knows her last name, her parents names, birth parents names, her dogs names, where she lives (Oregon), knows most of her basic body parts, says her ABC's, counts to 10, knows 4-5 church songs, and a ton of other songs, knows her shapes and colors. I'm probably forgetting some others, but pretty much she is a genius. She loves Tinker Bell, playing with her puppies, pretending to make ice cream, and playing with her play tea set and pretend food. Not even a week after she turned 2 we started potty training and she pretty much trained herself! It was a piece of cake! Jon got her flowers on her birthday and she loved it! We had a garden fairy party with family and friends. We also met with her birth mother for dinner. We are so grateful for her and that she chose us to be Ady's parents. Ady brings so much joy and happiness to our lives.
