March 21st Jon got sworn in with Newberg Fire Department! That means that he is no longer a probationary fire fighter! He gets to wear a black helmet now just like the paid fire fighters! They hooked him up with all kinds of gear including new NFD shirts, polo & fleece jacket with his name on both, beanie and fancy Danner boots! He is still applying for fire jobs to be a full time fire fighter! Lets just hope it's sooner than later!
